Thank you for the interest in my page!

Next January, I’ll be going off to Phang Nga, Thailand to volunteer with children. I will be teaching them English and also music, sports and other activities. I‘ll be going for 3 months, working Monday - Friday in the classroom, and I will be staying with other volunteers from all over the world. The organisation I am supporting is called GVI (Global Vision International). Their aim is to tackle critical global issues by operating award-winning education and training programs on sustainable development around the world.

I have always wanted to help out and work with children whos lives are not so fortunate as mine. In the process of doing this, I hope to have a life changing experience while helping others along the way.

In order to do this, I have to raise over £2000 for GVI thus supporting my time over seas. By working full time I have covered most of this but I still have a fair bit to fundraise. I hope by doing this I will gain knowledge of a different culture enabling me to have a better understanding of what it is like living outside of my comfort zone and doing things I have never done before. I’ve set this page up for any donations, big or small (every little helps), so I can reach my target amount.
