I am hoping to raise money for the SmileFromHatti charity as Hatti was a former cheerleader on my university cheerleading squad: the newcastle Northern Angels. I never had pleasure of meeting her as she was a few years older than me, however, some of the older girls in my first year did know her and told us all about her story which encouraged us all to want to help fundraise as: once an angel, always an angel. As a squad, we have done fundraising in her honour over the last few years as well as going to give blood like she encouraged people to do, and i would love to be able to contribute more from myself. Cancer is always terrible, but it is awful to hear of it taking someone so young so any donations would be greatly appreciated!

I only started running over the last year so this is a huge challenge for me and there have already been so many times when I have thought I won't be able to do it, however, knowing that i will be helping such an incredible cause encourages me to keep on going until I reach the 13 miles post ready for the Madrid Half marathon in April 2017.
