Story

I have made this page to raise money for the Victoria hospice Kirkcaldy where my mum, me, my son and all my family were treated with so much kindness and loving care during my mums final few months. I am never one for making up a page like this and this is my first time and will probably be the only time in my life I will make a page like this up, but I really want to do this for my mum. I have never met such lovely, caring people in my life than the staff at the Victoria hospice. They put up with Cullen running around the place, getting up to mischief every single day and never once had a bad word to say to me or him. They treated all of us with so much love and respect. They do so much for patients/patients families. Patients families have use of their own kitchen to make microwave meals, use the toaster, keep their food in the fridge/freezer and make tea and coffee and help themselves to biscuits. There is also a free coffee machine and free blackcurrant/orange squash in the corridor available for anyone. Sometimes they get friendly dogs in to visit the patients. My mum had a visit from a lovely dog. They also do a lot of groups but my mum was too ill to attend them and so much more. They let me and other members of my family stay overnight for however long we wanted and always made us feel welcome, they made me my supper every night and my breakfast every morning without me even asking them to😢 I would really like to donate some money back to them for the work they do with the patients and their families. Even if you could just donate 50p or a £1 it would mean so much to me, every single penny will help, really want to make my mum proud💗

Love and thanks

Emma and the rest of our family
