Story

The Massive Mental Walk sees us walking 18.6 miles, because 186 die by suicide in Lancashire each year.

During COVID19 many mental health services, including our own, were forced to close our doors and stop delivering mental health services.

We are walking to highlight, during COVID19:

1 in 5 people experienced suicidal thoughts

Depression rates DOUBLED

Calls to emergency mental health lines doubled

70% of people were classed as ‘very worried’

56% of people felt stressed / anxious

Calls to domestic abuse lines rose by 49%.

If you would like to help us highlight that mental health has not been forgotten, and bring our community back together in the process, then please donate what you can.
