Story

For my son's 10th birthday he is going to attempt to cycle the 127 miles length of the Leeds -Liverpool canal to raise money for local refugee families in Bradford and Craven to participate in community events and appointments. The ride is a significant personal challenge and one that represents some of the incredible distances families have to travel when fleeing their homes in search of safety. Every penny raised will go to Bradford City of Sanctuary https://bradford.cityofsanctuary.org/ and Bradford African Community (BAC) https://bradfordafrican.co.uk/who-we-are/ in the work they do.

Please support grassroot organisations like these to provide the kindness and possibilities for displaced families trying to find their feet in a new place, and to help show young people to know they can help to crate a more compassionate world and that we can all make a difference, no matter how small.
