For my son's 10th birthday he is going to attempt to cycle the 127 miles length of the Leeds -Liverpool canal to raise money for local refugee families in Bradford and Craven to participate in community events and appointments. The ride is a significant personal challenge and one that represents some of the incredible distances families have to travel when fleeing their homes in search of safety.
