Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our page, We are hoping to raise some money to help our dear friend and colleague Kelly with her battle to fight a Brain Tumour.
Two weeks ago Kelly was told she had a Brain Tumour, a tumour that has wrapped so tight around the nerves in her brain; surgeons are not sure about the outcome - Kelly is off to hospital on Thursday 10th October, to prepare for Brain surgery on Friday the 11th October 2019. Kelly has been told surgery will be between 10 and 12hrs long. Kelly has been told the nerves affected include speech, hearing, eyesight and swallowing. Recovery will be a long process, and that means Kelly will not be working. Let us tell you a bit about Kelly; Kelly is 33 years of age, an incredible NHS Community Nurse, who recently earned a well deserved promotion to undertake a Band 7 Community Leader post. As well as her full time job, Kelly is also a doting aunt to her beautiful niece. If this was not enough, Kelly and her mother are big animal lovers, they have rescued Horses and Dogs from a life of misery, at the moment they have 9 rescue horses and 6 rescue border collies. The horses are based 40 minutes away from their family home, as Kelly will not be fit to help her mum look after the horses, we would like to be able to raise enough money for her mum to have a caravan on site, to make simple things easier - being able to make hot drinks on a cold day. Every penny raised will help Kelly and her family through the tough months ahead. Please donate what you can, it will mean so much. Thank you.
