My uncle Ken was the nicest man you could ever wish to meet. He was always kind and caring, with a big smile on his face and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Ken, unfortunately was taken from us all far too soon due to cancer. Since his passing I‘ve thought of how best to honour someone so special. So after hearing that Ken was responsible for helping to start a football team in Launceston called the “Southgate Colts” (a team which hid grandchildren currently play for). I have decided to raise money to help support the club by running a solo marathon which will be fully recorded on Strava. No mean feat for someone who usually lives in Dubai and is used to a rather flatter terrain! The hills of Devon and Cornwall are certainly going to be a test of mental and physical endurance. But nothing is ever worth doing unless its hard!!
