Story
This March, I’m taking on a challenge close to my heart: walking 175,000 steps a week — that’s equivalent to 25,000 steps every single day — in memory of Craig.
Craig passed away in 2005 from an undiagnosed heart defect. He was full of life and deeply loved. Following his death, Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation was established to support cardiac screening for young people — helping to prevent other families from experiencing the same heartbreak. All funds raised through this page will go directly to the foundation. Learn more here: https://craigsheartstrongfoundation.co.uk/
Last year, I walked the same challenge in memory of my dearest friend Karen, and together we raised £6,000 for Asthma & Cruise Bereavement. Karen had the biggest heart and was always there for everyone. She inspires me every day, and this challenge is my way of carrying that forward.
I’d love to beat last year’s target, so I’m starting at £3,000 and will increase it if we reach that goal. Every step, every donation helps save young lives.
Thank you so much for supporting me and Craig’s Heartstrong, I’m truly grateful.
Help me turn steps into screenings.
