within 4 days of each other we learnt of the devastating deaths of Tom Searle and Robin Turnball, who both sadly took their own lives.. miles apart they didnt know each other, with only their age in common. The shock and turmoil of the aftermath of these devastating events affected everybody who knew them. Suicide in young men has recently become more apparent with less stigma around the subject of suicide and depression but sadly has always been a painful issue, Derick's family lost a very dear family member to suicide and the devastating affects will never vanish completely, which makes this run even more special.

Derick and I felt we needed to change somethig about the level of "known" available support that is out there. Initially we would like to stop people from taking their own lives but the support is also needed for the loved ones left behind. Please help us on our quest to help the Jacob Abraham Foundation, this charity was set up after Jacob Took his own life at the age of only 24. Suicide is the biggest killer in men under 50 mainly affecting men in there early 30s.

This run is for Zara, Nicola, Beatrice, Matilda, anJanet, Gwyn, Dericks amazing family And everyone whos loved ones have taken their own life xxxx
