Supporting Two Incredible charities

I’m raising money for two amazing charities that mean so much to me and my family.

Home from Home Appeal – Bradford Neonatal Unit

Last year, my grandsons Jesse and Nolan were born prematurely at just 25 weeks and received outstanding care at the Bradford Neonatal Unit. The dedication, compassion, and support shown to our family during such a difficult time will never be forgotten.

The Home from Home Appeal is raising funds to build accommodation for parents whose babies are receiving critical care. Many families are transferred miles away from home and often have nowhere nearby to stay. These apartments will give parents a safe place to rest, sleep, and remain close to their babies when they are needed most.

Having experienced the emotional strain of neonatal care firsthand, I know how important this support will be for so many families.

Jacqui’s Million

The second charity I’m supporting is Jacqui’s Million, an inspiring campaign raising funds for Leeds Cancer Wards.

Jacqui herself has battled several cancers and has dedicated herself to improving the experience of cancer patients and their families. Thanks to fundraising so far, the charity has already provided recliner chairs for chemotherapy patients, cold cap machines to reduce treatment waiting times, and support for parents who need childcare while receiving treatment.

Jacqui continues to work tirelessly to fund essential items and services that otherwise wouldn’t be possible, and after meeting her personally, I was truly inspired by her strength and determination.
