I've raised £1000 to help Emerson Grant https://www.facebook.com/EmersonGrant2014/

On Saturday November 4th I will be running in a challenging run called the Winter wolf run, a 10 km stint over obstacles, walls, through tunnels, under water pontoons, getting muddy and running in sodden shoes to raise funds to help 2 year old Emerson Grant
Up until August 2016 Emerson was an above average 20 month old toddler. He had just settled into his nursery where he enjoyed playing, climbing, running and jumping with his new toddler friends.Emerson grew ill over a few weeks during which time he became unable to move his legs. He was admitted to hospital for an MRI scan, where the doctors told his family the devastating news that he had an arachnoid cyst on his spine. The surgeon removed the cyst, however not before he lost the use of his lower body.
Life has changed dramatically for Emerson and his family, Emerson is now disabled (incomplete) and requires many years of rehabilitation. No one will say if he can ever walk again but his family are positive and strong. If there is any chance of Emerson regaining his mobility again he will need lots of physiotherapy and specialist equipment.
Due to Emerson's age, funds/equipment and resources are limited and as a result a number of events are being organised to raise money to help support him.

Please dig deep and give generously as I cannot think of a more worthy cause than helping my friend Anna and her amazing positive family raise money to help Emerson.
