June 1st this year, shortly after my 30th birthday, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.

The care I received from The Pink Rose Suite and Grimsby Hospital was phenomenal, making a tough journey bearable. Whether it be the anaesthetist holding my hand whilst they put me to sleep, the surgeon checking in on me on her day off or my nurse attending difficult appointments.

Myself and a few friends will be entering in the tough 10k in Leeds on October 21st to help raise money for the Pink Rose Suite. The medical knowledge/research there saved me from having a lot of excruciating treatment and enabled me to look forward to a future with my boys <3 <3
