In loving memory of my sister, Mary Nartey, who passed away from liver cancer and fibroids, the Mary Nartey Foundation was established to provide hope and a second chance to those battling cancer and other health challenges across Ghana. Over the last four years, the Foundation has made a remarkable impact, helping 2,400 people in Accra, Ada, and Tadzewu.

Our work has included:

Sponsoring life-saving surgery and chemotherapy for a cancer patient.

Providing essential medical support, cancer screenings, and resources to underserved communities.

Raising awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment options.

The Mary Nartey Foundation seeks to create opportunities for those who would otherwise have limited access to vital health services. Inspired by Mary’s courage and resilience, we are committed to giving others the second chance she fought for so bravely.

Upcoming Event: Cancer Workshop (1st-2nd February 2025)

This two-day event will focus on:

Medical Support: Offering free cancer screenings, consultations, and referrals.

Awareness Programmes: Educating attendees on early signs, prevention, and available treatments.

Essential Equipment: Ensuring the resources needed to deliver effective care are available.

We aim to raise £3,000 to cover the costs of medical equipment, workshop materials, and support for patients during the event.
