I have set myself a challenge to run 50 miles during the month of July!! (Through www.raceatyourpace.co.uk) I know this might not sound like much to some people, but considering I have the busiest life out of anyone I know, this will be tough! I will be running before work in the mornings and at the weekends (in between running the farm!!!)

Now.. I didn't want to run for no reason (apart from getting fitter!! and maybe losing a few pounds!!)

As lots of you will know I lost my beautiful boy Cluffy last year, he was my first dog and my soul mate, losing him has been hard, to say the least - he is still my first thought in the mornings and my last at night.

Cluffy originally came from the pound in Swindon, after being found roaming the streets and I had 12 wonderful years with him, he was a true gentleman and would have wanted every dog to have a home and sofa to call their own!!

The pound is no longer a thing as a fantastic charity called "SNDogs" (Saving Needy Dogs) have taken over, they rehabilitate and asses dogs within foster homes until they find them forever homes! I'm sure this isn't a cheap process and they need all the pennies they can get!!

I am grateful of any donation at all, and if you can't donate perhaps you have some things at home that they could use? dogs toys, bowls, beds etc? they have many collection points around Swindon!
