I've raised £500 to fund 'Empathy & Eternity'

‘Empathy & Eternity’ is a short black & white documentary film using a mixture of interviews, poetry, and prose to explore the story of George Evans, an evacuee child who was whisked from the slums of Liverpool to a bucolic corner of Shropshire during WWII. The film examines at the places he stayed, the interpersonal dramas that played out between his adoptive family and mother at home, the wider world in which this drama played out, and the passing of the torch through generations.
The film is being produced, shot and edited by (very over-qualified) volunteers from 28 July - 4 August. With volunteers and their equipment, we’ve managed to make it a very low-budget operation, and we are trying to cover accommodation, which we also managed to get a discount on. Our £500 pound target reflects this - anything that may exceed this would be equally distributed among the volunteers.
Any contributors to the film will be thanked in the credits and invited any of the screenings, which are planned in London, Southport and Tenbury Wells!
With love,
Cameron
