We also use the workshop platform to support Elderly and others facing isolation and loneliness in our community's.We have our own sewing machines. Engaging widows, Widowers, elderly and others facing isolation and loneliness with creativity with help to build a stronger communities and promote independence and leadership.
We are so passionate about our support to the widows and widowers, also to give back to our community by supporting the elderly.
Our workshop is runs every Monday and Tuesday 10-12Am @Northward Housing(Damhead), Rochadle road, M9 7HD.
We also go out once in a month by hiring a bus to take this group of individual's out to socialise and build their self esteem.
We also celebrate key dates with the widows as well such as valentine day, mother's day. This are time they really missed there love ones. We also celebrate family time such as Easter and Christmas party.
We are now in need of bus to able to convey especially elderly to the workshop to tackle isolation and loneliness. We have come to realise that mobility is a barrier to most elderly that want to socialise. Also , the bus will enable us help with our home support visit to the widows in their journey of grieving such as shopping , appointment etc.
Please we need you all support to enable put more into our community's.
