Story

EMS has been going for a while however we rely on donations to help buy life saving equipment.

We have been doing first aid / medical cover for over 6 years and have treated over 7000 people.

We also teach free first aid courses and again to keep our courses for free we rely on donations so we can buy new equipment to teach life saving skills.

Recently we have had 2 AED and 3 medical Bags stolen from an event while we was treating a patient this was very upsetting for all our members who are involved in EMS and how we support the community offering free training ect we can not understand why anyone would want to steal life threatening equipment.

So this page is now to help us purchase new equipment to replace what has been stolen. It could be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

We are also wanting to set up an emergency first responder scheme in the area. our team members are keen to do this so can offer first aid, lifesaving courses to the general public in the area, and hopefully enlist some on a voluntary basis to respond to 999 calls within the area. As you may be aware the ambulance service is becoming stretched and therefore their response rates for heart attacks are decreasing, potentially putting thousands of lives at risk every year. Each team that helps has to have there own equipment minimum require is 1 AED 1 Oxygen, 1 medical Bag , plus uniform. Again this is now an extra cost since having to try and fundraiser for to replace stolen equipment.

All help is hugely appreciated.
