    Story

We are now a registered charity!Thank you so much to all those who have donated already.

We need this £5000 as a minimum amount in order for us to be accepted as a charity by the charity commission: please help us to reach this target.

    Here is our story...

COVID will not be the last issue to hit our healthcare sector - but it is a critical issue at the moment. These are some of the practical problems the healthcare world faces that we would like to solve with your support:

Produce instructional videos for school teachers and general public

Develop personal devices to minimise transmission of a virus by, simply, opening a door.

Develop better face masks and face protection for public and key-workers

Develop reusable gowns for key-workers to minimise wastage

Develop a new sterilisation method for PPE

Re-design hospital wards to maximise occupancy and minimise infection risk

All of the above depend on our organisation having the funds in place to - at least - get the professional and product insurance so that the volunteers are not putting themselves at financial risk just for doing the right thing. Additional funds means we can move things faster and save more lives doing so. To help us save lives please donate now,

ALL of the donated funds we receive go to supporting the projects.

ENG4NHS is a not for profit collaboration of volunteers (engineers, scientists, product designers, environmental health professionals). We formed out of the COVID-19 crisis. The effects of covid is ongoing and is likely to be long term for both the NHS and for those who have suffered covid.

We do this for free, and any spare monies we make goes back to the NHS, Red Cross, Medicine Sans Frontiers and other charities. We have applied to the Charities Commission for charitable status.
