Story

Hi I'm asking for your help to make my life and the people around me life better

Just over three years ago I contracted meningitis as well as having a spinal stroke which left me paralyzed from the shoulders down. I have been in many different hospitals, care homes and rehabilitation establishments but I am now back in my hometown in a wheelchair accessible house. My life has changed a lot but it is great to be around people I love including my two young daughters. My daughters do not live with me so it is nice that I can now see them more often and make each time as special as I can.

My garden is very plain and as much as it is the clean space for my daughters to be able to play it is not currently accessible for a wheelchair to use fully. I have looked into a landscape gardener to rectify the problem so I can fully use and enjoy the space I have as well as it looking and feeling nice. The quote I have been given to me is not possible and unfortunately I am not able do what I would like to do.. As the weather gets nicer I am only able to see my children have fun rather than be part of the fun. As you can imagine I have missed out on a lot of memories over the past couple of years and want to be able to create as many lovely new ones as I can and feel by having a garden that is fully accessible to myself I can enjoy my life rather than watching from afar.
