    Story

At Bidwell Henderson, our Directors had a big idea. Every child should have the opportunity to read the recently launched children's book 'Equal to Everything' about Judge Brenda and the Supreme Court.

Bidwell Henderson Costs Consultants Ltd in partnership with Legal Action Group are donating and delivering a copy of 'Equal to Everything' to every Primary School in Derbyshire before Christmas 2019. However, this is just the start of something special.

We want to provide this wonderful book on equality and the law to every Primary School in the UK. However, to achieve this, we need your help. . .

    What’s the book about?

The book is based on the life of Lady Hale, the President of the Supreme Court. It follows a young girl called Ama who starts a new school, and whilst on a class trip, she learns about the work of the court, how the law works and some of the interesting cases that illustrate how important the law is to help people, and how difficult it can be to make just and fair decisions.

Here’s what some of the children who have read the book have to say about it:

Alexander, age 4 tells us his thoughts on the book:

Some of the children of the Bidwell Henderson team share their comments on the big idea:
