I've raised £200 to support 'BLOODY GOOD PERIOD' who provide menstrual supplies to asylum seekers, refugees & those who can't afford them.

Bloody Good Period aims to create a sustainable flow (pun intended) of menstrual protection for those who can't afford to buy them.
Menstrual supplies are not cheap, but for anyone with a period, they are, of course, an absolute necessity. It is absurd that they are not free for those who need them. Many women who menstruate living in poverty resort to using toilet paper, old scraps of fabric or nothing at all. The average lifetime cost of having a period is approximately £4800*
*£4 on tampons, £4 on pads, plus £2 panty liners = £10 x 12 months x 40 years = £4800
We want to alleviate period poverty by giving these products to those who can't afford them, and changing the conversation by, you know, just talking opening about periods.
