I've raised £200 to Help Scout Leaders take 20 Scouts to Nepal in 2018, where they will go on a trek and work with a charity to help build a village school.

My name is Eric Critchley, I am the team leader for the Merseyside County Scouts Nepal Trek 2018. On the 28th March we will be taking a party of 40 Scouts and Leaders to Nepal, returning on the 15th April, 2018. The dual purpose of the visit is first to have the wonderful experience of trekking in a beautiful and challenging environment, and second to spend several days helping to build a school in the remote village of Ashrang, with the Mucchok Education Charity, in conjunction with Child Education Nepal UK. Both these opportunities may prove to be once in a lifetime experiences, or they may affect the course of our member's future lives.
The overall cost of the trip is £2,000 per person. As the members of the party come from a variety of economic backgrounds, we have decided that we will achieve as much of each person's expenses as possible by fund-raising. Could you please consider making a donation to our funds, any addition would be gratefully received? Thank you.
