Story

The Red Box Project is a country-wide initiative that aims to tackle period poverty. Disadvantaged young people often miss school due to their period, as they are unable to obtain sanitary products. This project aims to ensure that no young person misses school, or experiences panic or embarrassment because they have got their period. The key feature of the scheme is that young people in schools are given as many sanitary items as they need to see them through the entirety of their period, not just one or two pads here and there. It is designed to be sustainable, providing a reliable supply every month.

This is where you come in.

Through regular and sporadic donations, we hope to slowly cover all the schools in Bristol, and sustain boxes in each school. This involves constant replenishment of Red Boxes, and thus, a constant supply of donations.

The money raised here will go towards buying sanitary towels, tampons, pants, boxes, and brown paper bags (for discretion). I ask that not only you donate (if you can), but also share and spread the word, so that together, we can ensure NO young person misses their education in Bristol due to their period.
