Story

In June 2016 my Dad was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Tumour Stage 4 the most aggressive kind of Tumour there is. It is located at the back of his frontal lobe. Upon having his biopsy, he suffered a brain bleed, to which they had to de-bulk some of the Tumour to stem the bleed. This caused him partial paralysis on his right side of his body which left him with numerous trips to physiotherapist to help gain some of this back, which to this day it hasn't. It is possible that he may never get this back. He struggles with his Zimmer frame and wheel chair and has a very strong positive out look on life. He wants to get better and not worse. He had a course or radiation towards the end of 2016 and his Tumour had grown. He then went on to a course of chemotherapy which he has now finished this August. His latest scan result shows that it is stable. Me and my brother Gary for some time have been doing a lot of research into alternative medication and Dad has been taking from an Oncologist in Harley Street in London where they have done experiments and tests with other medication that can slow down the rate his particular Tumour grows. In the words of my Dad "I want to survive and am willing to try anything I can to prolong my life" So on my part, me and my family want to do what we can. We are a very close family and want to make sure that this can be kept going although costs can be quite high. So I am reaching out as I have helped many charities in my time and ask for a donation towards keeping the cost of my Dad's alternative medication going. I've raised hundreds for lots of people and causes in the last few years but since I have been a child it's always been my passion to help and raise money for others. Please find it in your heart to help me help my Dad. I would appreciate it massively.
