I see these peoples oppression as invisible to many here in the West. It is a suffering that compromises popular narratives about religion, society, and resricts the ability of some people to virtue signal (especially in the media). Many of these regimes are actually close to the media organisations and governments that fail to mention them (both liberal and conservative publications/ governments). For these and many more reasons these regimes are hardly mentioned let alone criticised or held to account.

This all results in massive amounts of suffering and oppression being completely silenced. These voiceless people have what little voice they have completely denied.

I spent time getting to know people living under these regimes in these places and over time they have become my close friends. I cannot sit back and ignore their suffering any longer. I now will have to do what the media, governments, and charities should have started doing already. I now have to get these people out of these countries and away form these regimes so that they can be free to express themselves and to not live under fear or the threat of violence and even death at the hands of their respective governments or societies anymore.

I am already in contact with multiple people across multiple different countries, but now I want to go to these places, document it, meet these people in person and raise awareness by doing this.

This also will help give me an opportunity to provide funds to poor people which will allow them to leave these places and seek refuge elsewhere, people who would otherwise be unable to leave.

I don't want to ask for money like this and nor do I think I should have to, but the pieces have been left laying around for too long and now someone has to start picking them up.

These oppressed people are you and I. They are out fathers, out mothers, our brothers, and our sisters... They deserve this help as much us.
