I've raised £10000 to help purchase food, repair hurricane damaged homes and create a seed bank for agricultural activities.

Our hearts are broken by our friends devastation from hurricane Irma. Houses have been destroyed. Livelihoods lost. Small holding farms ruined.
Food is scarce at the best of times. Now even bread is hard to find.
Our family has been visiting Esmeralda and surrounding villages and towns for 9 years. Thanks to the grass roots network we've built over this time we are able to invest donations directly to people we know that need it most.
The people of Cuba have given us so much love and wisdom. In our own humble way we have given what we can.
We've invested a lot of our time and money over the years. This hurricane has come so unexpected and we are looking to respond quickly. We don't have the resources to meet the need alone.
Please join us by giving what you can, so we can help people in need now.
The Cubans have always said to us "Thanks for remembering the poor, because most people forget"
Let's remind them again that we care.
