I'm raising £2000 to create a museum and preserve the history of the witch trials held in Essex through the 16th to 18th Centuries.

Story

From 1542 to 1736, witchcraft causing harm or death was illegal in England.

During this time, more than 750 witch trials were held in Essex alone.

It’s estimated that over 110 of those accused were executed and roughly 500 imprisoned.

By donating today, you can help us to create an in-person museum, preserving the stories from this brutal period of local history
