Story

My dad recently passed away and his passing bought to light the lack of defibrillators in our local area.

The cardiac arrest survival statisics are shocking, only 1-10 people will survive a out of hospital arrest, immediate initiation of CPR can double survival, making that a 2% chance. Defibralatiin within the first 3-5 minutes of collaspe can produce survival rates of up to 50-70%. Its a no brainer but only 2% of people in cardiac arrest have a automated external difibralator (AED) used before the ambulance arrives.

Im pledging to walk 10,000 steps a day throughtout Febuary to attempt to raise funds and buy a external machine to be housed with 24 hour access. We have units within our town but only a couole that have have no restricted access. I will be doing this in memory and honour of ny Dad .

Please donate as little or as much as you can.
