CHADIK (Children Health And Development In Kenya) this is a Charity both based in the UK and also in Kenya.
The charity collaboration with Gertrude's Children's Hospital in Nairobi to fund vital Outreach Clinics in desperately poor and isolated rural communities. These clinics provide medical care to mothers and children who would otherwise go unseen and untreated. The charity is working tirelessly to prevent the unnecessary suffering that results from this lack of basic medical care.

I choose this charity because it summaries the aims I want to do in the future that is helping the children in Africa get basic needs such as Medical care and education, as we all know the future depends on our children if we make their future better today they are more than likely to become the next generation best politicians, doctors, lawyers etc. If we don't do change anything for them they will not be able to fulfill their
future dreams and aspirations lets join hands make this wish come true for those that can't afford. Sometimes taking children to school is hard especially children that are born in the poorest regions in Kenya with CHADIK they are striving to support children in the Likii slum in Nanyuki which is a town approximately 3 hours north of Nairobi, the role of CHADIK in Nyayuki included supporting a nursery school which has been privatised and important teaching of IT training is being carried out in the LISHACQ Self Help Center. Progress in LISHACQ has been improving and a dispensary is being supported with the help donation and a state of the art IT center has been installed. A small laboratory has been furnished and equipped to allow a range of diagnostic tests to be carried out locally. Currently CHADIK is also looking for ways to supplying agricultural and technological training for 14-16 year old children in the region. Many capable children have no opportunity for secondary education and need our help to secure a future by acquiring essential skills.
