Esther Greene is a 6th Form Student at Colchester County High School For Girls (CCHSG)

A bright and cheerful teenage daughter of Julian & Catherine Greene, Esther was recently diagnosed with secondary tumours on her spine and chest. They are the recurrence of cancer that she has been treated for three times since she was three years old.

In spite of treatment and a very poor prognosis Esther wants to complete her A-levels and go to University for as long as her health permits. Treatment and the progression of the disease are difficult obstacles to face, but she has done it with courage and grace. We want to raise money to help provide Esther with equipment to help with her goals and to give her experiences to look forward to when she is well enough, whilst living with a life-limiting illness. We want Esther and her family to have as many happy memories as possible.

Esther's friends, family and school's parent community are organising various Coffee Morning events to help raise necessary funds.

We are so touched by the many offers of help, donations and treats offered. Many have asked about Esther's Wishlist and whether they could help with that, so here are some of the things she's hoping to do and looking forward to. It makes such a difference to have exciting plans when treatment is hard and things uncertain.

Here is Esther's Wishlist:-

*Go to prom (with hair)
*Visit her friend in Germany (flights donated)
*Visit America to catch up with friends she made during proton treatment in 2015, and see her childhood BFF who lives in Atlanta
*Pass her driving test
*Host French/Spanish exchange students to make new friends, use her language skills, teach English
*Go to University (hopefully Cambridge)
*spend Christmas in the snow
*Go to Spain (scheduled for June courtesy of generous friends) V Ahern
*Go to France (overnight trip scheduled for may Bank holiday for Paris)
*see a show (seeing Annie in July- thank you C Hill)
