East Sussex Save the NHS is a local campaign group fighting to save NHS services for local people. We are a small group who have run campaigns to save Eastbourne's walk-in centre, hosted film screenings, speaker events, street stalls and more.

But this all costs us money and we are being held back in what we can acheive by a lack of funding. We are hoping to use this crowdfund to finance more activity and therefore increase our chances of success.

We aim to unite people across East Sussex who believe in our NHS so that we all retain access to core services. We stand with the NHS staff who are now taking industrial action for better pay, better working conditions and an end to dangerously understaffed hospital wards. We are not aligned to any political party.

Our NHS was once the jewel in Britain's crown. It was for many years the envy of the world. But ever since its inception politicians havce attacked the basic principles on which the NHS was founded, destroying the standard of care available to the people. We now have a healthcare system on its knees with a workforce that is virtually broken.

We believe that unless we fight against cuts to services and funding, privatisation and attacks on staff pay and working conditions we will soon lose our NHS altogether. Please donate what you can and help us protect our access to quality healthcare that is free at the point of need. Thank you
