Story

My name is Ethan Holway and I am proud to have been appointed as the 2022 Club Captain for the Juniors at The Kendleshire Golf Club.

I will be raising money for my two chosen charities throughout the year and will appreciate any support to assist me in reaching my target.

My two charities will be The National Autistic Society - South Glos Branch and The Kendleshire Kids Foundation.

I have two younger Brothers who have Autism and Sensory Disorders, Oakley who is 14 and Luca who is 13. Our family life is always very challenging but they mean the world to me and I would like to support the local South Glos division of the National Autistic Society to help other families who are in the same position. Please see link: https://www.autism.org.uk/directory/n/nassouth-gloucestershire-branch

The Kendleshire Kids Foundation is my second charity and is operated from the Kendleshire Golf Club for young people who have had adverse childhood experiences and trauma. This charity has helped so many children to have fun and to build their resilience for the future whilst improving their physical health. 'Golf for Good'. Please see link: https://kendleshirekidsfoundation.org/

I will be holding various events at the golf club over the next few months especially throughout the Summer and will update you all in advance with some of the exciting ideas we have planned.

Some of these events will include:

Speed Golf, 2 Club Challenge, 72 Hole Challenge, Parents vs Juniors, Backwards Golf, All Sports Golf Battle, Hit or Miss Challenge and much more.............

Please support me in anyway that you can, it will be very much appreciated and mean a lot.

Many Thanks,

Ethan......

A little bit about Autism:

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how people perceive the world and interact with others. Autistic people see, hear and feel the world differently to other people. If you are autistic, you are autistic for life; autism is not an illness or disease and cannot be 'cured'.

Autism is a spectrum condition. All autistic people share certain difficulties, but being autistic will affect them in different ways. Some autistic people also have learning disabilities, mental health issues or other conditions, meaning people need different levels of support.

If you would like to know more about Autism and it's affects on people and families please click on this link to The National Autistic Society. https://www.autism.org.uk/
