Story
I'm in the first year of my A levels and have been accepted as a volunteer at the Uzima Mission Clinic (http://www.ywamdar.org/uzima-mission-clinic.html). This is a very busy medical clinic near Dar es Salaam in Tanzania – over 100 patients per day and 50 or more births each month.
I am not sure exactly what I will be doing yet, but it will involve observing medical staff (just one doctor, but several nurses) and generally being helpful in any way that I can. I’m in the process of trying to learn some Swahili.
I am raising money for my trip by babysitting, and my parents will also contribute. But additional donations would be really helpful. Thanks very much, and do feel free to email me if you want to know more (or want me to babysit!).
