Story

Ethereal Theatre Company is a theatre company created in 2015 with an interest in producing high quality productions annually performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. With a keen interest in all aspects of the theatre genre, Ethereal has previously explored devised original work and most recently Musical Theatre. With our productions achieving success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, it is our collective ethos to continue producing theatre which explores a unique perspective or concept which delves deeper into the themes, meaning and messages behind titular shows.

Last year, Ethereal Theatre brought Little Shop of Horrors to the Edinburgh Fringe. Gaining huge success with 4 *and 5* audience reviews and a 4* review from Broadway Baby, we have decided to take another show up to the Edinburgh Fringe this year. This year we have extended our run to 15 performances with a total cast and crew of 36 people. Ethereal Theatre Company’s production of ‘Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street’ will debut in The Grand Theatre at theSpace @ Surgeons Hall from 3rd-18th August. Taking a show up to the Fringe requires a lot of hard work and a lot of money. Registering, paying for the performance space, accommodation, travel and publicity costs a considerable amount of money, and all this is on top of the normal costs of putting on a show (such as props, costumes and set). Therefore, we have created this page to help us fundraise for our show. Any donation you can spare, small or large, would help us immensely in reaching our goal of putting on an incredible show at the Edinburgh Fringe.

In order to say thank you for helping us achieve our goal, you shall receive the following package based on the size of your generous donation:

Pirelli's Present - £25.00 - Added to our list of contributors on the thank you page of our programme.

The Hellfire Handout - £50.00 - All of the above plus a signed programme from the entire cast.

The Cut-throat Contribution - £100.00 - All of the above plus a guaranteed moment of audience interaction for yourself and one of the characters during the performance.

Lovett's Lovely Gratuity - £150.00 - All of the above plus a meet and greet with the entire cast and crew at the end of the performance.

The Green Finch Grant - £200.00 - All of the above plus a reserved seat to the performance of your choice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

The Demon Barber's Donation - £250.00 - All of the above plus two reserved front row seats to the performance of your choice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
