I've raised £27000 to help children in need of education in the poorest parts of Africa.

It is only by chance that I have been born in a country where I am guaranteed a roof over my head and food on my table – the least I can do is help out those people who haven’t been as fortunate as I have.
My name is Nicky Gouder, I live in Malta and a couple of years ago I decided to dedicate some of my time to help children in need, in the poorest parts of Africa. The idea came about in 2008 when together with a friend of mine we decided to visit Kisumu, Kenya for a couple of weeks to help out with a number of projects in the region. The projects we helped with included the construction and maintenance of a number of schools and orphanages in Ethiopia, Kenya and Brazil.
I have been a couple of times to Kenya and also to Ethiopia, where we would help in the building and maintenance of schools, orphanages and chapels – collect clothes from our friends in Malta to donate to the children in need and also collect money for them, either by financing a particular projects which were already underway or to build small projects of our own.
The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.
These children have absolutely no access whatsoever to education. Please help us change that. Any amount donated will really make a huge difference to this project.
