My name is Etienne and I have been offered the fantastic opportunity to teach in rural Fiji commencing August 2018. I will have the privilege to spend three months teaching and working closely with a local Fijian community, who are living in an underdeveloped country. Putting my skills to the test, I hope to make a positive impact and enrich the lives of the young people I work with, providing education, which will hopefully go onto empower those I work with.

Lattitude has been operational for the last 40 years, during which they have sent over 40,000 volunteers to developing countries, where they can positively impact the lives of the people they work with, whether through education or community development schemes. I don't know the specifics of where I will be placed yet but will continue to keep this page updated and feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Whilst I am confident I can provide my skills and enthusiasm...I require some assistance with funding. I hope to raise £3,500, which will cover placement costs as well as the bulk of travel and insurance. I would be hugely appreciative of even the smallest of donations!! I hope to partake in a number of small fundraising activities such as bake sales and quiz nights, as well as a Tough Mudder next April! if you can't afford to financially support, that's okay! I would kindly ask and be very grateful if you could keep me in your prayers and thoughts, during the fundraising and throughout my time volunteering abroad!
