At Eton Park Junior Academy, we believe that every child should have the chance to experience the world beyond the classroom — regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. School trips, enrichment opportunities and residentials can be life-changing: they build confidence, spark ambition, strengthen friendships and create memories children carry forever.

But with rising costs for transport, venues and activities, these experiences are becoming increasingly difficult for many families to afford. This year, more than half of our pupils are eligible for Pupil Premium for the first time — a clear sign of the growing pressures facing our community.

Our PTA works tirelessly to make sure cost is never a barrier. Through fundraising, community events and donations, they help us subsidise or fully fund trips and residentials so that every child can take part, not just a few.

We are now setting up this JustGiving page for anyone in our community — or beyond — who would like to support this mission.

£10 could help fund a place on a local educational trip

£25 could support a child to join an after-school activity or workshop

£50 could go towards transport for a class visit

£100+ could help us fully fund residential experiences for children who would otherwise miss out

Why it matters

For some pupils, these opportunities are the only time they will visit a museum, the theatre, a sports venue or experience the outdoors away from home. These aren’t “extras” — they’re essential for broadening horizons, raising aspirations and supporting personal development.
