Story

Why am I raising money?

Hello, it's Euan. I've been extremely fortunate to obtain a place on the 25th World Scout Jamboree in August 2023. This is is a worldwide event which happens once every 4 years, and this time will take place over 3 weeks in the SaeManGeum region of South Korea. Over 40,000 scouts will attend from all over the world to take part in initiatives focused on a global agenda, sustainable issues, and to gain greater insight into other peoples traditions and culture, in hope of further unifying the scouting movement. In order to attend, I need to raise £3000 in total to cover the cost of flights, accommodation, food, training activities and equipment.

Challenge 550!

The distance between London Gatwick and Seoul, South Korea is 5500 Miles. If anyone can cover that distance between now and then, please let me know! I have therefore decided to Run, Swim or Cycle 550 miles. Every mile I cover will represent 10 miles of my journey and I will regularly update you to where I am in the world over the next year. I will track it on my Strava, which you can check out here: Euan Willis Strava

Last but not least,

THANK YOU in advance, every contribution means the world to me (literally). Attending the WSJ2023 is the opportunity of a lifetime and I intend to document it to share the scouting world with all of you!
