Story

Hi im Morgan, I am 24 years old and i have recently been diagnosed with BPD/EUPD (Borderline personality disorder/Emotionally unstable personality disorder) and PTSD (Post traumatic atress disorder) caused recently , there is no ‘cure’ to BPD they call it the cancer of mental illness, you can have treatment but its not guaranteed to cure you, and there is a high risk of suicide to people who suffer due to this.

After living with EUPD/BDP without knowing for over 11 years and constantly asking for help and being told there was nothing wrong with me, and then recently suffering a traumatic experience which made me a nervous reck and drove me to the point of ‘insanity’ which caused me to attempt to take my own life, as i couldnt live with the thought of what i was going through and it seemed like the only way i would stop suffering. After the police then taking my door off and taking me to hospital where I was then admitted to The Priory in Altrincham which was an accute ward for assessment/treatment, i was finally diagnosed and am now getting the treatment i need.

I also want to break the stigma around mental health and try and get people who havent been through it to just try and understand a little and open their minds, PTSD is caused by trumatic experiencaes and as hard as it may be to understand for you it is 100% harder for me and it could happen to literally any of us...
