Story

NEST's Taekwon-Do Teesside (Redcar, Marske, Middlesborough and Teesside University) has been selected to attend the European Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.

NEST tkd have been called up to compete. having worked extremely hard these past 8 month's travelling across the UK to attend training sessions at cost and time.

As Traditional ITF TKD like many other minority sports are not funded by any government or supported in anyway! All having to self fund or raise from kind donations.

Our NEST students across all the classes from Middlesborough to Pickering and Scarborough, have held a inter club competition in April to raise funds as well as selling our t-shirts at the recent TT Open event. This has helped us raise around £550 towards the £3,000 cost to help fund athletes to partake in the EITF European Championships.

We wish to try and raise another £1,500 and with your support will make or break this opportunity. Without hitting our target we may not be able to attend.

As an incentive, if you are willing to donate a minimum of £25 then you will be sent a TT Open t-shirt for FREE. We have a short period of time to secure this funding and would ask if you could make any donations to sign up and support our members we will do our best and hope to come back with a European medal or two for your support.

Please visit our Facebook page to keep up to date with our fundraising as well as results when we travel out to Estonia on Sunday 22nd April. The event will run from 23rd-30th April. NEST TKD

We will smash it for you at these European Championships.

Thank you 👊

If you or know any business which would like to fully fund our athletes then get in touch with me Mr Chris Black on 07866461047 and become our official sponsor, this would open up endless opportunities for us and others in the future across Teesside.
