I'm raising £1000 to print copies of my book to donate to hospitals and families affected by burns across the UK.

Story

Adam and The Light of the Phoenix is one of the first age-appropriate books in the UK designed especially for the group most affected by burns — children under the age of five. The injuries are most commonly scalds caused by hot liquids. The story uses gentle, symbolic language and illustrations to help very young children begin to make sense of a deeply traumatic experience and to support positive emotional integration. With the guidance of parents and psychological professionals, this resource has the potential to meaningfully support long-term healing.

Copies are intended for donation to hospital staff and families in partnership with the National Children’s Burns Trust who will also support the official publishing of the book very soon. I am also sharing free digital copies. Please get in touch if you would like to receive one. Thank you for your support.
