I've raised £500 to help Marches Family Network support children with disabilities and their families by giving care, encouraging confidence and creating joy..

At the end of January I fly to Africa, to Climb Mount Kilimanjaro and would love for you to sponsor me. Over September and October I walked 500 miles by myself across Spain so my next adventure is to hike to the peak of Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. At a whopping 5,895 meters above sea level it is over 4 times higher than Ben Nevis (1,344 m), so will certainly be an experience.
So why? Not only to challenge myself, but also to raise money for an amazing charity that I have worked with for more than 2 years - Marches Family Network. We support children and young people who have disabilities or additional needs and there families across Hereford and Shropshire. Marches Family Network run Saturday play days, trips out and evening youth clubs through the week to help the children to have fun, socialise, gain confidence and enjoy themselves whilst enabling their parents or carers some free time. We currently improve the lives of nearly 200 children with disabilities and their families.
