* Hi all, just an update! We are currently awaiting MRI results for Stanley and will be updating you all as soon as we get the news!

We had to create a new page as previous page had expired and we couldn't extend it (can only run for max of 120 days) we are planning to transfer all funds raised on the previous page onto this new page where we will continue to raise for his SDR operation. We raised a whopping £3,611 on Stanleys previous page and that was all thanks to you guys out there. We cannot express enough how grateful we are! Our plan now is to fundraise, fundraise, fundraise!! We need you all onboard ;)

Hi everyone and welcome to Stanley's story. As some of you may know Stanley was a premature baby who fought for his life and unfortunately went on to develop Cerebral Palsy which is incurable, Stanley cannot use his arms or hands like other children, sit up or walk.

However, there is hope for him as Stanley could have an operation which could potentially improve his life.

SDR (Selective dorsal rhizotomy) is an operation that will permanently reduce the spasticity in Stanley's body and allow the development of his muscles that were previously hindered due to the spasticity. It will allow Stanley to experience greater opportunities in life. He will also need two years of intensive physiotherapy to ensure that the SDR Operation is successful. This operation is no longer available on the NHS

We are hoping to raise £20,000 towards supporting Stanley to have the SDR Operation that would change his life.

Everyone that knows our Stanley knows that he does not deserve the challenges he faces in life, no child does. I'm going to try and change this for him so he can have a better life and achieve everything that he wants to.
