Story
We are Eventasa made up of four Events Management students at MMU. As part of our second year assessment we have been given the task of holding an event for the Booth Centre with a starting budget of £0, meaning we have to raise all the funds for our event ourselves. The event we create will raise money which all goes directly to the Booth Centre along with raising awareness of the amazing things the charity does.
The Booth Centre is a day centre that offers advice, activities and support for homeless people in Manchester. Their vision is for everyone to have a secure home and the opportunity to have a good quality of life.
The Booth Centre is here to bring about positive change in the lives of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and help them plan and realise a better future. They do this by providing advice to find accommodation, education, training and help to secure employment, free healthy meals, support in tackling issues with health and addiction, and creative activities to boost confidence and self-esteem.
As we are raising all the money ourselves, any donations or sponsors for our fundraising activities will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
