I've raised £1200 to provide a clean water supply to a rural village in Nepal.

In October we will be travelling to Nepal! While there we hope to be able to fund and oversee a charity water project, we will also be trekking to Everest Base Camp to raise money!
The Water Project
This project involves the purchase of a 2.5km water pipe and employment of locals to help with installation. This will allow access to safe drinking water for the village population, whom presently only have the water from nearby streams. Currently this water supply is unsafe and unsustainable as the water is contaminated and becomes limited during certain times of the year.
This project has been made possible through a friend based in Nepal, providing us with support and contacts within the country.
Everest Trek
We will be climbing to Everest Base Camp (17,500 ft) to raise money for a project in the Dhanding region of Nepal. The climb will consist of 8-9 hours trekking per day for 19 days. Following the trek we will return to Kathmandu to help with the water pipe project.
We have already paid for all travel and trekking costs in full, any funds raised on this page are solely to allow this charity project to go ahead.
With 100% of money raised directly going into funding this project, this is a unique and personal project for us all to be involved in.
Thank you in advance for you generosity!
