Story
We are raising money for two charities that mean so much to us.
Every day counts. Simple. This is what connects Cardiac Risk in the young and the Motor Neurone's disease Association.
Brad here, in July 2025 I suffered an unexpected, unexplainable cardiac arrest in my sleep. I came out of a coma, spent a month in hospital and had an ICD fitted in case something like this were to happen again. I have had to make some life adjustments, but I am very lucky to be alive, recovering and getting back to it. I want to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young so that heart issues can be detected early and what happened to me can possibly be avoided.
Omar here, another primary school teacher called Rob Hasler was diagnosed with MND in October 2024. Life has changed so much for Rob and his family. But, what we admire the most about the Haslers is how they have reluctantly had to embrace this condition, learn how to negate life with it, and help make the uncomfortable comfortable.
This is not just for the Haslers, it is for anyone else who has had their world turned upside down. You are not alone.
Rob has become passionate about football, Brad and I are also passionate about football, so what better way than to arrange a fun filled afternoon, with an u12s tournament being a warm up for the ultimate clash of
Hasler FC vs Utteridge United.
Live for now. Invest for the future.

Omar will gather a team to play under the name of Hasler FC and Brad will gather a team to play under the name of Utteridge United. Who can lead their team to victory on a day where everyone is a winner?
All proceeds and donations before, on and after the day will go to both charities.
On the day, the main event will be on the pitch, but there be a raffle- with some great prizes.
Please help us by donating here. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Omar and Brad
