We go through life, seeing terrible things happen to good people, but you never think that will happen to you or to the people you love.

In November 2021, my 18 year old nephew was hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing outside his University leaving him with life changing injuries.

Having been left feeling helpless ever since, I am running marathons to try and help in whatever small way I can.

In October 2022, I ran the London Marathon to raise money for the University of Nottingham Queens Medical Centre hospital who saved his life.

This year, I am running the Amsterdam Marathon on the 15th October to raise money for the brain rehabilitation unit he is at. This is so they can purchase more advanced gym and physio equipment for the brain injured patients in their care.

I will be with my nephew every step of the way through his journey to recovery and am so grateful for all of your support 😊
