Story

So, first a bit about myself.

I'm Evie Brown, a 16 year old student based in Lincolnshire, UK.

Drama, Musical Theatre and the general arts have always been my greatest passion, my mum would tell you that I could sing before I could talk, and the rest of my family would tell you that I am a natural at creating drama, everyday at home! When I was 4, I went to see my first West End musical, Les Miserables. Ever since, it has been my undying dream to perform up there with the stars.

I easily passed drama GCSE and am currently studying drama A level, and I have loved/ love every second of it. I've taken part in very successful but smaller productions of both Les Miserables and Miss Saigon which were amazing experiences but only made me want to be on the West End even more.

Now i'll explain what i'm trying to raise money for. Every summer, the West End puts on a Summer camp in London which lasts for a week. In that week, the participants are trained intensively by professional actors and directors from morning to night, and at the end they put on a performance at Her Majesty's Theatre - home to the world famous Phantom of the Opera! I would do anything to be able to take part in this theatre summer school, as it would give me a taste of what i've always wanted to do - and motivate me even more to get there!

However this outstanding experience doesn't come cheap. It costs £595 for the experience, and an extra £395 to pay for accommodation and food for the week, totalling £990. This is a sum that I could never raise alone, and that would definitely make my parents go broke.

Any small donations would be greatly appreciated, and if I get anywhere near my goal I would be the happiest drama queen alive.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, Evie :)
