Evie Keown was born with a Congenital Heart Disease, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrone with which she has needed staged open-heart surgeries to help prolong her life. She has now been placed on the urgent heart transplant list as her condition has deteriorated. Evie has spent the last 5 weeks in ICU in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast waiting on a call to be transferred to Freeman Children’s Hospital in Newcastle, England, for a new heart.
