Story

Evie Crandle, the special little girl, contracted septicaemia and passed away just after 5pm on Monday.

My brother and sister, Phil and Sam, absolutely adored her, in a way that some kids will never experience. They are model parents and made Evie’s short little life so full of happiness and adventure.

For three days solid they willed Evie, who battled so hard, to get better, it will always stay with me how they each had one of Evie’s jumpsuits folded up in the hands, Phil’s had a little logo saying “I love my Daddy”…

Phil and Sam have a relationship which is extraordinarily strong, and over the coming months, they need to pull strength from their special bond to start re-building their lives, which they will 100% do and will be happy again one day after all the dark days they have in-front of them.

So, why am I doing this collection?

Firstly, I’ve mulled over whether it’s the right thing to do, like so many of my friends and family, we just feel helpless… Money will mean nothing to Phil and Sam at the moment, but, when the time is right, after all these dark days, would having a little pot that could pay for a life experience, holiday or whatever could aid their recovery be a helpful thing?

You decide anyway, please don’t feel pressured into donating, you may want to do your own special thing for them…

Thanks from

Jenny, Archie, Maggie, Anne, Will, Jen & Family

RIP EVIE-PIE xxx
